Worms, Germany. 30th August 2014. The Lord Mayor of Worms, Michael Kissel (SPD), hands over the key to the city to the BojemŠŠschter vun de FischerwŠŠd (mayor of the fishermen's lea), Markus Trapp, who keeps it until the end of the festival. The largest wine fair along the Rhine, the Backfischfest, started in Worms with the traditional handing over of power from the Lord Mayor to the mayor of the fishermenÕs lea. The ceremony included dances and music.
