Church, , Hertfordshire, is one of only two churches in England dedicated to St Hippolytus, a 3rd century martyr and doctor of dates mostly to the 14th century. According to legend Knights of Temple Dinsley, Preston, Hertfordshire, rode over before going out to fight for their horses to be blessed. It dates mostly to the 14th century, with a 15th century timbered south porch, and a fine embattled tower with a spire.
