London Southend Airport, Essex, UK. 6th May 2020. Two Royal Air Force Battle of Britain Memorial Flight Spitfires have landed at Southend Airport for refuelling ready for filming flying over White Cliffs of Dover for broadcast on TV coverage of VE Day 75th anniversary. Spitfires served the RAF during the war at RAF Rochford, which has now been developed into London Southend Airport. Spitfire P7350 is an early Mark IIa which flew during the Battle of Britain
