Afghan National Policemen practice manual patient carries during the trauma assistant medic course at the Joint Regional Afghan National Police Center in Southern Afghanistan, Mar. 17, 2012. A total of thirty policemen from the Afghan Border, Uniform, and National Civil Order Police participated in the eight-week course. The course is designed to educate the policemen on life saving skills such as rescue breathing, administering intravenous fluids and treating head and spinal injuries.
