Head fuscous brown slightly mixed with yellow, the palpi whitish in front; thorax and abdomen yellow mixed with deep rufous; pectus, legs, and ventral surface of abdomen yellowish white ; fore legs fuscous brown in front, the tufts of hair behind coxfe fulvous. Fore wing yellow irrorated with fiery red, the costal and medial areas deep purplish chooolate-brown ; a subbasal brown line from the dark area to inner margin ; antemedial line dark brown, obliquely curved, forming the inner edge of the chocolate medial area which is slightly irrorated with blackish ; a yellow discoidal lunule ; postmedial line brown, defining the chocolate area, incurved from costa to vein 4 where it is acutely angled outwards, then again incurved and angled outwards on vein 1; subterminal.
