Dungeness A, Nuclear Power Station.
Dungeness A nuclear power station, was connected to the National Grid in 1965. Situated on the Dungeness Headland in the south east of Kent, power station ceased power generation on December 31st, 2006. Defuelling should be completed by 2009, with the turbine hall demolished in 2010, to be replaced by an intermediate level waste store in 2014.
