Electroless nickel plating factory. Worker testing chemical samples for the correct mineral levels at a factory specialising in electroless nickel plating. This process relies on the presence of a reducing agent, such as hydrated sodium hypophosphite, which reacts with the metal ions to deposit metal, instead of the electric current used in traditional electroplating. Every hour, the chemical composition in the plating tanks is checked. Photographed at NiTEC, UK.
