Northwest face of Mount Hood, Oregon


The NW face of Mount Hood 3,424m (11,234ft) with Cathedral Ridge (left), Sandy Glacier Headwall (below summit) and Yocum Ridge (right). The Sandy Glacier lies below the rock buttresses. Viewed from 1,880m (6,175 ft) on the McNeil Ridge. This ridge is accessed from the Top Spur trailhead on the west flank of Mount Hood.
