A few planted on the lawn produces a very fine effect early in the spring, and mowing will not dt-stroy the bulbs, for the leaves ripen so early that they will be pretty well matured before t-lie grass will need cutting. Are perfectly hardy : the bulba can remain several years without removal. Double, 5 cts each, 40 cts per dozen. Single, 3 cts each, 30 cLs per dozen. LACHENALIAS. A beautiful class of Sjjring-tiowering bulbs, adapted for greenhouse and ruoiii decuratiuu. The spotted foliage and richly colored tlowei-s -are very attractive. Tiiey are suiUible for forc- ing, but must not receive much lieat until the flower buds begin to show. Tiie shades of yellow prevail. From Cape of (iood Hope. 12 cts. BABIANAS.
