Blairsville, GA - Country Living, Interior, Foyer
A few years ago, my sister and brother-in-law moved into their retirement dream home which they built in Union County, GA just outside Blairsville. It is a small community with only 652 residents (as of the 2010 census) in town — Union County itself only has 21,566 residents or maybe two more now. And unlike the squished-together living we find in the major urban areas, land is relatively cheap here and one can easily afford a good-sized lot and a home with a bit of space, inside and out. Even room for a old school desk backed by a lovely quilt hanging above the landing, going downstairs.
