"We were fortunate in securing a good stock of it direct from the introducers, which enables us to offer it at a comparatively low price this sea- son. It is of true Cactus form, with long, slightly twisted petals or florets, with revolute margins'; the flowers which are about fc>£ inches in diameter and quite full in the centre are of the snowiest white and are borne on stout stiff stems of sufficient length to make them valu- able as cut flowers lor all kinds of decora- tions ; the plant is of free branching habit and extremely free flowering. We offer strong young plants, which will flower freely this Summer, ready April 1st, 75 cts. each, § per dozen. The following selection embraces the cream of the introductions of this season, all being distinct and great improvements over existing sorts. Constancy. A very pleasing Cactus va- riety of beautiful form regular and sym- metrical. Color a reddish orange shaded bronze sometimes tipped white. Grand Duke Alexis. One of the most unique and grandest Dahlias ever intro- duced, frequently producing flowers 18 inches in circumference. None finer in form. Color ivory-white the tubular petals showing a faint shade of peach- color at the extremities, greatly enhancing the effect. Miss May Lomas. One of the "grandest show varieties, of distinct form, having immense shell-like petals of most exquisite waxy finish, the color is pure white suf- fused with soft rosy lavender, a most unusual shade.
