A flintlock pistol, Christoph Joseph Frey, Munich, circa 1730 Two-stage smooth bore barrel in 13 mm calibre, octagonal then round after a girdle. At the breech (replaced) brass inlays inscribed with "FREY". The flintlock chiselled with hunting themes and flowers, signed near the powder pan "C. JOS. FREY IN MÜNCHEN". Carved walnut stock (the forestock glued with replacements and a later horn nosepiece).
