An artist has creatively placed picture frames in strategic locations on abandoned railroad property near Salida, Colorado, USA

The land just across the Arkansas River from downtown Salida, Colorado, is now vacant and barren, owned by the Union Pacific Railroad. An artist has creatively placed picture frames in strategic locations. Salida is a historic railroad town that supported the mining industry in and around the Arkansas River Valley. The Denver and Rio Grande Western Railroad laid the original tracks through the valley.
