FORT IRWIN, Calif. – A UH-72 Lakota Helicopter provides combat air support to Troopers from Assassin Troop, 1st Squadron, 11th Armored Cavalry Regiment, during their assault on an objective held by elements of the 2nd Armored Brigade Combat Team, 1st Infantry Division, near the village of Nur in the National Training Center, May 4, 2017. The purpose of this phase of NTC Rotation 17-06 challenged the Dagger Brigade’s competence in defending an objective against a hybrid-force consisting of conventional and non-conventional forces.
