Funeral work is about all the retailers have. At the wholesale houses, large consignments of seasonable stock are coming in. Boses are coming in daily, in such large quantities that many are left unsold. Only first-grade stock brings a good price. Russells and Beauties of good quality have the call. Killarneys in all varieties comprise the bulk of the rose stock and these are sold in thousand lots at low prices. Carnations have greatly improved of late and some really good stock is seen. An abundance of asters are still arriv- ing daily from local and outside grow- ers. White and purple sell best, bring- ing $4 per hundred for the fancy stock. Tuberose stalks are not so plentiful as they were and the prices asked on these are $4 per hundred. Gladioli are still crowding the market, wi
