Moths Ind. iv. p. .503 (1896). 5 . Head white; palpi at sides and antennae blackish; tegulse and patagia white, the latter blackish at base; thorax and abdomen fuscous. Fore wing white, with blackish patch at base of costa edged with raised black scales ; an obliquo black-edged fuscous band irrorated with leaden scales from middle of costa to vein 1, somewhat constricted at middle and incurved at lower end, with a white spot on it at middle and a tuft of raised black scales at lower angle of cell; an obscure irregularly sinuous subterminal line, with patches of fuscous suffusion beyond it extending on inner half to the oblique band; cilia blackish.
