Fore wing white, with blackish patch at base of costa edged with raised black scales ; an obliquo black-edged fuscous band irrorated with leaden scales from middle of costa to vein 1, somewhat constricted at middle and incurved at lower end, with a white spot on it at middle and a tuft of raised black scales at lower angle of cell; an obscure irregularly sinuous subterminal line, with patches of fuscous suffusion beyond it extending on inner half to the oblique band; cilia blackish.
