Abandonned old Holden Ute in farm yard, Eurelia South Australia

After procrastinating whether to head North at Yunta to Lake Frome, and considering the late afternoon, we decided to head on to Peterborough, and we were gald we did. Virtually every 4wd we saw was covered from wheel to roof in red/brown mud, and we really wanted a good night sleep before we got into remoter country. Arriving at Peterborough brought back memories of the last time we'd been through here. Much was the same although much had changed as it does in ten years. We left early, around sunrise. Low cloud and a carpet of frost greeted us as we travelled North through Orroroo. We then hit undulating terrain and came upon Eurelia, a small locality with an abandonned railway, actually most of the town was abondonned, houses for sale, derelict buildings and this completely almost workable early Holden ute in a typical Australian disused setting. Too good to miss an opportunity we pulled in, I took some photos and then we spent an hour exploring the disused railway. Alpa 12SWA, schnedier 24mm, Leaf 75s, converted to infrared
