Details about the new program, eligibility, types o£ repairs and renovations covered and application forms may be obtained by contacting the Alberta Pioneer Repair Program in Edmonton at 427 - 5760 or by writing them at, Alberta Culture has introduced the Senior Citizens Facility Grant Program to aid in the development of senior citizens facilities. Financial assistance is avail- able to help senior citizens organizations which are registered societies to establish Drop-In-Centres, to upgrade existing facilities and to provide equipment that will assist in meeting social, cultural and recreational needs. Up to $500 will be available in the form of a grant. Additional funds up to $3,000 will be provided on a matching funds basis. For every dollar put forward by the organization in the form of cash, materials, labour or land, the program will provide an equal amount up to $3,000.
