MEDITERRANEAN SEA (Jan. 22, 2018) The Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyer USS Carney (DDG 64) approaches the fleet replenishment oiler USNS Patuxent (T-AO 201) for a replenishment-at-sea. Carney is forward-deployed to Rota, Spain, on its fourth patrol in the 6th Fleet area of operations in support of regional allies and partners, and national security interests in Europe.
