Welsh Black Cattle (Bos taurus). Bull. A docile breed- not all bulls need to be ringed in the nose, normallly done as a means of handling for husbandry purposes. Note how the animal has let the shadow of its horn fall across the eye - a habit many animals develop which acts as a sun shade and something that a photographer photographing black or dark coloured animals particularly notices, when wanting a highlight in the eye.
