TIL] VASE WITH EEMAEKABLE DECORATIONS. 367 The globular lustrous dark-brown vase, No. 299, with its long perforated and deeply-fluted projections for suspension, is very remarkable. No. 300 is of the same colour, and has theusual system for suspension. It is decorated witha waving line and dots. To the list of vases found elsewhere, withvertical tubular holes for suspension, I may addtwo small conical vases from Nimroud, in theBritish Museum, each of which has four suchholes. No. 301 is a blackish globular vase, withperforated projections on the body as well as inthe rim, for suspension. It has a rudely-incisedornamentation filled up with white chalk. One of the most interesting objects ever found at Hissarlik is the. Ko. 299. Glubular Vase, with tubular lioles for suspension. (About 1 : 4 actual size. Depth, 26 ft.)
