KADENA AIR BASE, OKINAWA, Japan – The III Marine Expeditionary Force (MEF) band plays the National Anthem during the 120th Corpsmen ball June 15 at the Rockers club on Kadena air base, Okinawa, Japan. The represents the connection between corpsmen and Marines. Corpsmen have been an organized unit of the Medical Department since the act of congress was passed on the official Navy corpsmen birthday June 17, 1898.
