Utah Army National Guard UH-60 Black hawks and an Apache AH-64 depart from Dugway Proving Ground, Utah, on Sept. 8, 2022 during a joint force exercise. During the exercise, Airmen were challenged to defuel a KC-135R Stratotanker into an Army Heavy Expanded Mobility Tactical Truck to practice Agile Combat Employment. Prior to departure, the Blackhawks and Apache received fuel from the HEMTT. This innovative process demonstrates the ability to provide fuel to other vehicles when located in austere conditions in order to complete the mission.
