The F-35B Lightning II prepares to begin its demonstration at the 2016 MCAS Miramar Air Show aboard Marine Corps Air Station Miramar, Calif., Sept. 23. The F-35 is slated to take the place of the Marine Corps’ EA-6B Prowlers, AV-8B Harriers and the F/A-18 Hornets.
