Brian Lewis covers a rescued fisherman with a wool blanket as the attending doctor, Cmdr. Terrence Dwyer (left) and Navy nurse Lt. Cmdr. Vicki Edgar assess his condition. The Comfort rescued the fisherman after his vessel sank in rough seas and he had spent nearly 20 hours alone in the water. The call for Comfort's assistance came from the Coast Guard after they received a distress-call from the fishing vessel at approximately 7 yesterday, shortly before it capsized. Robert Lambe, 35, is one of the three Bermuda citizens believed to be on the fishing vessel when it sank. The whereabouts of the two other fishermen are still unknown. Lambe is being treated aboard Comfort for minor hypothermia and is in good condition, according to physicians aboard the ship. Comfort is operated by the Navy's Military Sealift Command and recently deployed as part of the ongoing military build-up in the Central Commands area of responsibility.
