040414-N-5781F-001 Coast of Singapore (Apr. 14, 2004) - The Military Sealift Command (MSC) underway replenishment oiler USNS Yukon (T-AO 202) conducts a replenishment at sea (RAS) evolution with the aircraft carrier USS Kitty Hawk (CV 63) off the coast of Singapore. A RAS provides the ability to maintain operations at sea for extended periods of time without having to pull into a port for supplies or fuel.
