Hooded tomb of Grace Griffiths née Williams 1642 on south side of St Mael and St Sulien's church, Cwm village, Denbighshire, UK. Decorated with with angel under west end of hood & eroded skull with shield either side at east end. St Mael & St Sulien’s Church, The hamlet is named for the circular hollow (cwm) on the hillside, it is considered to have been a site of Christian worship since the C7th. The present church, dedicated to two C6th Breton-Welsh missionaries, is mainly C14th & later.
