CLB-31 is the Logistics Combat Element of the 31st MEU which provides all elements of the MEU with combat service support. This training allowed for subject-matter exchange in logistics support for both units, which support forward-deployed amphibious operations. The 31st MEU, the Marine Corps’ only continuously forward-deployed MEU, provides a flexible and lethal force ready to perform a variety of military operations as the premier crisis response force in the Indo-Pacific region.
