Canna indica, commonly known as Indian shot, African arrowroot, edible canna, purple arrowroot,
Dundee has become a strong regional retail location – with a pedestriansed, family-friendly city centre containing designer, high street and local independent names that have been tempting consumers to Dundee in ever-increasing numbers from far and wide. And the monthly farmers’ markets have become a key event in the campaign to offer greater attractions to both local and visiting shoppers. Organic vegetables, honey, preserves, Scottish wines and beers, home baking, roasted coffee beans, raspberry drinks, venison, lamb, beef, plants and herbs are on offer on the range of stalls which occupy Reform Street on the third Saturday of the month between 9am-4pm.
