One-year plants will attain a height of 10 to 20 feet in a single season, and the second year they will continue to produce a marvelous profusion of rich and glowing crimson flowers in large clusters. It presents a Nnvid crimson of beauty when in full bloom, during June and July. It is absolutely hardy everywhere and is equalh' desirable for growing in bush form by pegging it dowl, or in pot plants. For dwarf hedges, massing in beds or for single specimens, there is nothing to equal it.
