Kuan An Keng Shrine was built by a group of Chinese and an image of Chao Mae Kuan-in was enshrined inside.


Kuan An Keng Shrine was built by a group of Chinese who followed King Taksin from Ayutthaya to Thonburi to found a new capital. Later it was rebuilt and an image of Chao Mae Kuan-in was enshrined inside. The shrine is next to Wat Kanlayanamit, on the Thonburi side of Bangkok.
