Fullered single-edged blade with double-edged tip, finely etched tendrils and inscriptions (the gilding and bluing now only barely visible): the obverse with "In dankbarer Anerkennung", on the reverse "Der Oberbefehlshaber der Luftwaffe Hermann Göring", the ricasso with the maker's logo of Eickhorn, Solingen. Gilt knuckle-bow hilt with a floral- and tendril décor in relief. Two foldable guard plates, the obverse with an applied silver Luftwaffe eagle. Orange-coloured plastic grip with gilt wire wrap.
