Gaping Gill is one of Britain's largest and most famous underground caverns. Members of the public can descend into the cave twice a year, when the Bradford and Craven pothole clubs set up a winch over the main shaft entrance. As seen here, Fell Beck drains into the main cavern and is one of Britain's highest unbroken waterfalls (nearly 100m)..
