Archbishop  Alojzij Cvikl holds a Mass which was broadcasted live on national television, at an empty Holy John the Baptist Cathedral church in Maribor. Due to the outbreak of the new coronavirus, the Slovenian government and local authorities have taken strict measures to prevent the spread of the coronavirus. Among other public transport is banned, schools, kindergartens and universities are closed, all public events are cancelled, cafes, bars and restaurants are closed.
