No. 75L. GOLTHAIS SUMMER LANDSCAPE A tiny brook runs through the picture, its channel deep-cutin the friable soil. To right and left trees grow thick in themushy ground, their graceful foliage spread fanlike across thesky,white clouds glinting here and there between the young peasant girl stands beside the stream, her armsfolded, gazing upward at the sky. In the distance the treesopen out, giving a view of a pleasant meadow sun-lit andwarm, in which stand two cows, and in the distance morewoods complete the scene.
