PACIFIC OCEAN (May 16, 2017) An F/A-18C Hornet assigned to the “Blue Blasters” of Strike Fighter Squadron (VFA) 34 prepares to make an arrested landing aboard the Nimitz-class aircraft carrier USS Carl Vinson (CVN 70) western pacific. The Navy has patrolled the Indo-Asia-Pacific routinely for more than 70 years promoting regional peace and security.
