Tichenor, of New Or-leans—a copper coin found at Waco, Texas, of the samecharacter, but of smaller dimensions and less weight. Insteadof three inches in diameter and weighing five ounces, it istwo inches in diameter and weighs three and one-half are also differences in the lettering. On the obverse of William and Mary Quarterly. 217 the coin, the central figure is the head of a unicorn, instead ofan Indian. The inscription on the reverse is also Stone Bridge at Queens Creek—York County Records,19 September, 1774. Ordered, that the sheriff pay the balanceof the last county court levy to David Jameson, Gent., andthat he, the said Jameson, pay to his Excellency, Lord Dun-more, one hundred and fifty pounds for building a stone bridgeover Queens Creek at Capitol Landing. On the motion of Elizabeth Dawson, it isordered that the sheriff of this county, out of the estate ofWilliam Rind, deceased, if sufficient in his hands, pay to thesaid Elizabeth Dawson, £5, 9s., due by an account proved, andher cost.
