Funeral procession of a serviceman awarded the Victoria Cross, Greater London Authority, early 1930s. Looking down from a tall building towards a military band marching in the funeral procession of a serviceman awarded the Victoria Cross. On notes within the collection file, this photograph was given a title of 'Death of a Hero'. The parade appears to have been for the funeral of a soldier who had been awarded a Victoria Cross. The notes also mention that the photograph was exhibited at the Royal Photographic Society and reproduced in Woman's Journal, July 1933.
