Southport Gate, South Bastion, Charles V Wall, Trafalgar Road, Gibraltar. The historic gates and city walls were part of the fortifications for the city in Gibraltar. Adjacent to this gate is the arch used by Trafalgar Road traffic, whilst a recently constructed Referendum Gate is the third one taking traffic in the opposite direction on Line Wall Road. Above the gate is the Royal Arms of Charles V
