Lake Platkow is 2,25 km long and only some hundred meter wide lake in northernmost Brandenburg in Germany which was originally a tunnel valley. This is a large, long, U-shaped valley originally cut under the glacial ice near the margin of continental ice sheets covering parts of northern and central Europa during the past glacial age. Der Platkow-See ist ein 2,25 Kilometer langer, aber kaum mehr als hundert Meter breiter Rinnensee im Naturpark Uckermärkische Seenlandschaft. Er entstand während der letzten Eiszeit als ein Schmelzwasserstrom am Rande des bis nach Mitteleuropa reichenden Eisschildes in tiefes Tal ausfräste, das sich nach dem Schmelzen der Gletscher mit Wasser füllte.
