Root 4'-42' long, tapering; vivid scarlet with white tip. BUCCANEER 23 A new Asgrow development, notable for uniformity and attractive market appearance. Top short; root globe-shaped, crisp-textured, with lustrous scarlet exterior. An exceptionally nice little radish. Cavalier 23 An attractive variety of short topped Scarlet Globe; primarily for forcing in greenhouse or frame. Top about 1' shorter than standard Scarlet Globe; root olive-shaped, bright scarlet. Celestial (Chinese White Winter) 60 Root large, 8' long; 2'-3' in diameter, cylindrical, with heavy shoulder; flesh white, rather mild in flavor. Chartier (Long Rose) 35 Root 7'-8' long and 1' thick; bright rose color on the upper part, shading to white at the tip. Cherry Belle 23 Top very short, root globe shaped, of bright cherry red color and small tap root.
