Bensley, Bolt Court, for J .T. Smith, 31, Castle Street East, Oxford Street, and sold by R. Ryan, 353, Oxford Street, near the Pantheon; and J. Manson, 10, Gerrard Street, Soho. June 9, 1807. Type: Antique hand coloured historical city map plan. The plan shows the area between the Strand and the Thames in the vicinity of what is now Temple underground Station and the Aldwych (the old Wiche Street is shown). The old Somerset House is marked lower left. St Clement's Danes is shown at the top of the plan. Today's Arundel Street runs through the site of Arundel House from the Strand down to the Thames.
