The course of study in this Department embraces all the branchesof a thorough English education, together with the rudiments of Mathe-matics, of the Latin and Greek Languages, and of Natural Philosophy. The regular studies are arranged to prepare students to enter Col-lege; but the instructions are also adapted to the wants of those whodo not design to take a full Collegiate course. Those who wish to en-gage in business will receive instruction in Book-keeping and Com-mercial Accounts.
