Thomas A. Edison Laboratories, Buildings 5 (main laboratory) and 6 (powerhouse, with smokestack), at Main Street and Lakeside Avenue, West Orange, Essex County, New Jersey. This site contained several of the manufacturing plants where Edison utilized new technology in commercial production. The main laboratory was originally built in 1887. Photo circa 1968.
