Three quarter front view of CUV 310C a 1965 RML 2310 being used as a feeder bus at the Cobham Bus Museum Annual Spring Bus Coach gathering at Wisley Airfield Surrey 5th April 2009 This Routemaster Lengthened RML bus has its original body The vehicle was initially painted in the Country Area green livery of London Transport and powered by an AEC 211 engine Equipped with 72 seats it is 14 feet 6 inches 4 42m high Transferred to London Country in 1970 in a 1972 overhaul at Aldenham works in Hertfordshire it was repainted in an experimental lighter shade of green In 1974 it acquired the drab green of the National Bus Company who owned London Country In 1977 it was transferred back to London Transport overhauled and painted red A Cummins C series engine was installed in 1992 and the interior refurbished in 1993 Under London Transport privatisation MTL London took ownership in October 1994 By 1995 the bus was painted red without any centre band In August MTL London was taken over by Metroline Timebus bought the bus in April 2004 for private hire Web site www timebus co uk
