Craven Arms War Memorial - St John the Baptist Church, Stokesay, Shropshire.
The Craven Arms War Memorial to those who served, died or returned. The memorial is situated in the churchyard of St John the Baptist at Stokesay (next to Stokesay Castle). It was moved from the nearby town of Craven Arms in 1999 due to increasing danger from traffic - it originally stood at the junction of the Shrewsbury and Corvedale roads. The memorial depicts an infantryman with a dolphin at the back which is said to represent the sea.
