He also had saltbaths, one or two a day, according to the weather andhis condition. They seemed to prevent or alleviatethe rash. His cheeks were red and rongh, and evi-dently itched, as he wonld scratch them and makethem sore, so that scabs formed. During the secondhalf of the month there was no redness, but only thedry scabs and scratches, and the scalp was a littledry. 8. Cold. Xo sign of a cold appeared during themonth. 9. Behavior. His behavior averaged half-w^aybetween excellent and good. It was affected unfa-vorably first by underfeeding, then by first time that he showed that he conld be crosswas during those two off davs. 10. Crying.
