Burchell's zebra (Equus quagga burchellii) is a subspecies of the plains zebra and ranges in southern Africa. Thought to have become extinct in the wild in 1910, careful study has revealed that they still exist in the wild in Etosha and Kwazulu-Natal. Photographed at Namutoni fort, Etosha Pan, Namibia.
