Flesh pale yellow, very mellow and tender, witha pleasant, aromatic flavour. A moderate bearer, but often pro-duces large crops on high soils, which are well adapted to thissort. November to February. A strong grower. The Winter Pearmain of most American orchards, is the Au-tumn Pearmain of this, and most English works. Pecks Pleasant.
