Amid a worrying increase of Coronavirus test positive cases in Victoria which is sparking fears of a second wave the State Premier, Daniel Andrews announced last week that a targeted testing blitz would be launched yesterday (26 June) across ten targeted suburbs to zero in on community transmission. For the next fortnight, 10,000 tests will be conducted across Keilor Downs, Broadmeadows, Maidstone, Albanvale, Sunshine West, Hallam, Brunswick West, Fawkner, Reservoir and Pakenham, with Keilor Downs and Broadmeadows identified as the top two and focus of the next three days of testing. An additional 41 new test positive cases have been uncovered overnight.
